Bar Management; Event Planning, Mixology, Social Media
I took on the role of bar manager for Brother Wolf in March of 2022. LIQUOR SALES: '22 vs '23 January - $53,880.00 vs $93,016.01 increase of 72.6% February - $67,160 vs $109,816.50 increase of 63.5% March - $69,427.00 vs $119,259.50 increase of 71.8% Q1 of '23 saw an average increase of 69.3% compared to Q1 of '22. With the increase of our cocktail prices from $11 to $12 it translates to a 9.09% increase. At a minimum Q1 of '23 would have an increase of over 60% of '22, but only the cocktails on the menu were increased, not all liquor. As a Bar Manager, my specific focus is on original mixology, event planning, and social media. In an effort to increase Monday night sales, I’ve planned a series of monthly theme nights. These range from “All the Single Ladies”, a Valentine's Day/Beyonce theme night geared towards singles in the service industry to “Big Gay Hoedown”, a queer, country music pride event that raised over three thousand dollars for the local nonprofit, Positively Living. I work with local graphic designers to bring these visions to life so while I’m not the artist, I often establish the concept, tone, color scheme, and verbage. Net Bar Sales Comparison: Average Monday night: $1,100 Big Gay Hoedown (2023) : $5,720 Vampires vs. Werewolves: $8,604.47
